Do I need an account to play?
No. On first launch you can continue as a guest and start playing right away. If you link your Google account, you can choose a username, add friends and open your account on another device too.
Will I lose my points if I change phones?
A guest account lives only on the device where the game is installed: if you uninstall the app or change phones, you cannot get back to it. Link your account and your name, points and friends follow you to any device you sign in on: Settings → Account → Link account. When you link a Google account for the first time, the points you earned as a guest are kept.
How do I change my name?
A guest account gets its name (such as Guest_1234) automatically, and it cannot be changed. When you link your account, you choose a username, which you can later change under Settings → Account → Change username. After a change you have to wait a while before changing it again; that screen shows how long.
How do I play at the same table as my friends?
On the Rooms screen, tap Create room and share the room code with your friends; they enter the code on their Rooms screen to join. Nobody can join once the match has started, so everyone should be there before it begins. If you have linked your account, you can add friends by username with Add friend on the Friends screen, and invite the ones who are online to your room.
I ran into an offensive message or player. What should I do?
Tap the message in the chat and choose Report, or block the player. A reported message is saved so that we can review it. You will not see messages from a player you block, and they cannot send you requests or invites; you can unblock them on the Friends screen. You can report an offensive username to us by email.
A question has a mistake. How do I report it?
While guessing, tap the flag in the top-right corner of the question card and choose what is wrong. Your report is not stored with your name. If you want to add details, email us.
The game can't connect to the server. What should I do?
First check your internet connection. When the connection drops, a bar appears at the top of the screen and the game tries to reconnect on its own; tap Try again in the bar to retry right away. If you get disconnected during a match, your seat at the table is kept for 60 seconds. If the problem continues, email us.
The game asks me to update. What should I do?
If your installed version is no longer supported, the game does not open and asks you to update. Update the app from the store you downloaded it from; on Android, the Update button on that screen opens the game's Google Play page.
Is the game free?
Yes. There are no purchases in the game; it is supported by ads shown at the end of matches. Ads never appear between rounds and are not personalized. In regions where consent is required, you can change your ad choices under Settings → Privacy and Safety → Ad privacy.
